Last winter, we had about 2 inches of snow. Spotting a great photo-opportunity, I loaded up the bike and headed off to Hints, through Hopwas, along the Birmingham and Fazeley canal to Whittington and back homeward through Lichfield and Wall. Despite slow progress (average 6Mph - hill climbing gears all the way) and a puncture just outside Whitiington, both myself and the bike made it in one piece (I never fell off once!) and travelled upwards of 30 miles through beautifully snow-dusted countryside, my only complaint being that the light became too poor to take any more photographs at Tamhorn Park. Here are the results - I hope you like them as much as I do.
